Fun Stuff on the Linux Command Line

21/07/2016 @ 7:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Folks,

We have been a long time to roll round to this topic again. Nothing as long as the 40 years to see the Apollo 11 code! Still rather a long time ago to before this incarnation of our website for our old bash tricks talk, and still long ago to Script-abulous!

And so without further ado: What can we do on the command-line in the world of text alone?

Roll along to see and hear how the world of the command-line has never been far under the surface of whatever GUI or VR

Meditating GNU

All at our usual 7:30pm Organ Grinder venue.

(We are the easily identifiable group with electronics and penguins somewhere near a power supply. We may move up to the function room if things get busy. Just ask the friendly bar staff!)

All welcome 🙂

All including coders and spectators and all new alike!

Note that our talks are quite informal and on this occasion, we will likely be demonstrating our usual gadgets of geekery. All are welcome to bring along their devices to play 🙂

Talk Notes

See on the NLUG links page for:

for a good starter on what is available and what can be done…

Let me know please for any others or anything else helpful/useful or just quirky interesting!
